Soho Restaurant & Bar – Southbank, Melbourne Soho Restaurant & Bar is a busy, high-energy venue in the heart of Southbank, known for its vibrant atmosphere, strong food and beverage offering, and event-driven trade. We are seeking an experienced Venue Manager to lead operations and drive performance. About the Role: Full responsibility for day-to-day venue operations Reports directly to the General Manager Hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced environment Set and maintain service, culture, and performance standards Key Responsibilities: Manage all front-of-house operations Lead, train, and motivate a large team Deliver exceptional customer experiences Roster management and wage cost control Drive sales, profitability, and event performance Ensure compliance with RSA, licensing, and OH&S Handle customer feedback and issue resolution Work closely with the General Manager to achieve KPIs Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a Venue Manager or Senior Hospitality Manager Strong leadership and team management skills Solid knowledge of food, beverage, and service standards Experience with rosters, budgets, and cost control Ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume venue Excellent communication and organisational skills Availability across nights, weekends, and public holidays What’s On Offer Competitive salary (based on experience) Busy, established Southbank venue Clear leadership structure and support Autonomy with accountability Opportunity to grow with the business If you’re a driven hospitality professional who leads from the front and takes ownership of their venue, we’d love to hear from you.
